Chair Declan Maguire wrote a piece for the August edition of Business Review USA that dispels a number of myths about executive business coaching. Not the least of which is that executive business coaching isn’t for people who need it, but for leaders who want it! Leaders who are looking to take their performance to the next level. Maguire writes, “Most executives who retain coaches are not flawed leaders. In fact, quite the opposite is true. The vast majority of people who seek out executive coaches are effective, successful people who want to raise their games.”
Maguire goes on to cover other misnomers about the coaching experience that may surprise you. I encourage you to read Maguire’s article and join our conversation. Thinking of retaining an executive business coach? Let’s talk about it!

I believe Maguire’s take on coaching may inspire many people to think about it in a new way.
