Robert J. Lyons brings over 37 years of management and leadership experience leading global businesses for Fortune 500 companies, with

26 years in senior roles with Fortune 500 recruitment firms. He has been responsible for creation of tens of thousands of work assignments and his teams have executed strategies responsible for recruitment of hundreds of thousands of candidates used to fulfill client needs.

Mr. Lyons is recognized as a thought leader on alternative workforce strategies, which he advances through white papers, speaking engagements and social media. His operations experience includes growing business through green field start-ups, handling acquisitions and turning around underperforming units.

At Kelly Services, a Fortune 500 company, he created a financial staffing brand and grew that business globally. He eventually became General Manager of all of Kelly?s professional staffing brands, managing businesses with $225 million in annual sales. At Olsten Corporation (now part of Adecco), he was Vice President and Group Product Leader, supervising five staffing brands generating over $500 million in North American sales. At Interim Services (now known as Spherion), he launched and grew a financial staffing business that generated $45 million in sales within four years, and acquired four staffing companies.

Mr. Lyons previously served five years as a U. S. Naval Intelligence officer in the top-secret SOSUS (Sound Surveillance System) anti-submarine network. He had completed his bachelor?s degree in marketing at Bryant University before joining the Navy as an ensign and leaving the service as a lieutenant.
