Mark Kolier

Owner/ CGSM

Mark got started writing product profiles and music as well as producing in-house training videos for Manufacturers Hanover Trust back in the early 1980′s. After a short stint writing and pitching jingles for a music house, Mark spent almost three years working with advertising agencies representing several commercial photographers.

Mark founded Canterbury Graphics in 1996 as a print management company. Today as president of CGSM, Inc. Mark is responsible for overseeing the strategic evolution of the company from a traditional print production agency into a full-service marketing organization that offers strategic consulting, creative services, digital marketing, printing and mailing, and media services. CGSM takes a media neutral approach to its client’s business needs.

Integrated marketing by use of pURL’s, website and microsite development, email marketing, Facebook page builds, and a variety of ecommerce applications also are included in the services CGSM provides to its customers. In 2008 CGSM acquired an equity stake in Tri-Media Integrated Marketing Technologies effectively adding more than 75 full time web designers and e-commerce specialists to its team.

Marketing agencies are beginning to consider owning their own products and servicing them as an agency-client relationship. In 2000 Mark founded ecommerce application YourCover.com which has evolved into a leading provider of online user generated personalized magazine covers as well as ancillary products for a host of life stage events.

Mark writes regularly and has been published in a number of business and professional journals and has a blog that can be found at http://blog.cgsm.com

He lives in Wilton with his wife Michele and has two children Gordon (21) and Haley (nearly 17)
