Charles Murray, whose education includes a BA from Harvard and a PhD from MIT, is a political scientist, columnist, pundit and author of best-sellers like Coming Apart. He is also a famed co-author of the controversial book The Bell Curve. Murray has written many books and first became known around 1984 for his Losing Ground: American Social Policy 1950–1980, which discusses the American welfare system.
