David Neeleman, Chairman and CEO of Azul Brazilian Airlines, has been a CEO or executive at companies of all sizes, in both the US and abroad. Neelman’s history in the airline industry runs deep, beginning with his co-founding of Morris Airlines in the ‘80s, which was later acquired by Southwest Airlines, and his career notably includes his launching of NewAir in 1999 that then became JetBlue, which he left in 2007. He also helped to create LiveTV, the first program to provide live in-flight television.
