On Tuesday, April 17th, I plan to attend the Vistage All-City event in Denver, where more than 350 Chairs, members, and their guests will gather to engage in what I would describe as nothing short of a high-altitude, high-powered peer advisory experience. The Denver event is one of nearly 40 such Vistage gatherings held annually across the country. They are led by the Vistage Chair community in each region and are aimed squarely at creating synergies and exchanging actionable ideas that members can take back to their groups and their companies.
If monthly peer advisory group meetings can make such a difference in the lives and the livelihoods of its members, then it stands to reason that creating a larger gathering of business leaders, who are experienced in this way of learning and growing, would yield exponential value. It’s also an outstanding way for executives, who have never experienced the power of peer advisory groups firsthand, to find out what all the buzz is about.
With two featured speakers, terrific breakout sessions, remarks from Vistage CEO Rafael Pastor, and time for both business and social networking, it promises to be the best thing that’s happened to Denver since Peyton Manning signed with the Broncos! Next week, I’ll share comments and insights from the attendees about how peer advisory groups have made a difference in their lives and, of course, get their take on their mile-high All-City event experience. And if Peyton’s there, I’ll find out what he has to say as well!
